Milano, 20/05/2026 – Crescono i numeri degli impianti utility-scale, aumentano gli investimenti, accelerano autorizzazioni e cantieri.  

Purtroppo, però, non si parla di ciò che sostiene fisicamente questi impianti: i pali infissi nel terreno e la reale capacità del suolo di garantire stabilità nel tempo. È partendo da questa considerazione che Geosolaris ha deciso di prendere posizione pubblicamente su una criticità che, secondo l’azienda, rischia di essere sottovalutata in una fase storica in cui il fotovoltaico sta diventando un’infrastruttura strategica nazionale. 

L’allarme riguarda un aspetto apparentemente tecnico ma con conseguenze economiche, assicurative e strutturali enormi. Sempre più impianti vengono realizzati su terreni caratterizzati da variabilità geotecniche importanti, senza che vengano effettuate verifiche sperimentali sufficientemente approfondite sulle fondazioni. In altre parole, progetti da milioni di euro possono poggiare su pali la cui reale risposta meccanica non è stata validata direttamente sul campo. Le prove di carico e il pull out test fotovoltaico sono procedure che Geosolaris considera ormai indispensabili per chiunque voglia affrontare un progetto utility-scale con criteri industriali. 

Secondo l’azienda, il problema nasce da una convinzione diffusa: ritenere che le indagini preliminari tradizionali siano sufficienti a rappresentare il comportamento del terreno. In realtà, anche un sito apparentemente uniforme può presentare differenze locali importanti, stratigrafie discontinue, variazioni di compattezza o aree che reagiscono diversamente alle sollecitazioni meccaniche. Questo significa esporsi al rischio di instabilità strutturale, deformazioni, necessità di re-engineering o interventi correttivi in corso d’opera. Il problema, spiegano gli operatori di Geosolaris, non emerge quasi mai immediatamente: spesso si manifesta dopo mesi o anni, magari durante eventi meteorologici intensi, forti raffiche di vento o cicli di stress ripetuti. 

Geosolaris sottolinea come il settore stia entrando in una fase diversa rispetto al passato. Se fino a pochi anni fa il fotovoltaico era percepito soprattutto come un comparto in espansione tecnologica, oggi rappresenta un vero mercato infrastrutturale. Questo cambia completamente il livello di responsabilità. Un investitore infrastrutturale, un fondo o un EPC contractor non stanno più costruendo semplici campi energetici, ma asset destinati a rimanere operativi per oltre venticinque anni. Per questo la variabile geotecnica non può essere trattata come un elemento secondario. 

Nel linguaggio della finanza infrastrutturale esiste un concetto preciso: risk mitigation. È qui che Geosolaris vuole spostare il dibattito. Il punto, infatti, non è soltanto tecnico. Un palo che non reagisce come previsto può trasformarsi in una criticità economica, assicurativa e reputazionale. Chi finanzia un impianto utility-scale ragiona in termini di durabilità, affidabilità, bancabilità dell’asset e riduzione delle incognite operative. Per questo motivo le verifiche sperimentali stanno assumendo un ruolo sempre più centrale anche nelle fasi di due diligence. 

Le prove di carico su pali consentono infatti di validare sul campo i dati teorici utilizzati in fase progettuale. Attraverso la simulazione di sollecitazioni reali, il sistema permette di comprendere come il terreno reagisca alle forze che agiranno sulla struttura durante la vita utile dell’impianto. Vento, neve, vibrazioni, saturazione del terreno e stress meccanici continui non rappresentano ipotesi astratte: sono condizioni operative concrete che ogni struttura dovrà affrontare nel corso degli anni. 

Il pull out test viene utilizzato proprio per trasformare queste variabili in dati oggettivi. Applicando una forza controllata ai pali già infissi, i tecnici possono verificare la resistenza all’estrazione e la capacità di tenuta del sistema di fondazione. Questo consente di individuare eventuali anomalie locali prima dell’avvio massivo delle attività di battitura dei pali. Dal punto di vista economico, la differenza è enorme. Intervenire in fase preliminare significa correggere eventuali criticità con costi relativamente contenuti. Scoprirle a impianto avanzato può invece generare ritardi, contenziosi, varianti progettuali e impatti significativi sul cronoprogramma. 

Il tema sta assumendo rilevanza crescente anche sul piano assicurativo. Diverse realtà del comparto stanno iniziando a considerare le verifiche sperimentali come un elemento sempre più importante nella valutazione del rischio tecnico. Geosolaris osserva che il mercato si sta progressivamente orientando verso una logica più simile a quella delle grandi opere infrastrutturali tradizionali, con una maggiore richiesta di evidenze misurabili. 

Le pubblicazioni tecniche internazionali dedicate alle fondazioni per impianti fotovoltaici confermano questa direzione. Gli standard ASTM relativi ai test di estrazione e alle verifiche laterali vengono sempre più spesso utilizzati come riferimento operativo nei grandi progetti utility-scale.

New office enhances localized sales, service, training, and customer support capabilities across Europe 

FRANKFURT, Germany, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Doosan Robotics announced that it has opened an expanded European branch in Frankfurt, Germany, as part of its efforts to accelerate business growth across the region. The opening ceremony, held on May 19, was attended by approximately 200 guests, including key European partners, existing and prospective customers, robotics associations, and local media. 

In 2024, Doosan Robotics established its European branch and built partnerships with system integrators and distributors in key European markets, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The expanded Frankfurt branch marks the next step in Doosan Robotics’ European growth strategy. It strengthens local service and training infrastructure while adding new functions for robotics solution demonstrations and application development. 

To support faster local response, Doosan Robotics Europe is enhancing its local repair and service capabilities by expanding support to include individual component replacement. The company maintains a local inventory of service parts and repair equipment to improve customer response times.
