COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

NÜRNBERG, Germany, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Raytron Microelectronics is showcasing its advanced IR camera module portfolio at SENSOR+TEST 2026 (Hall 1, Booth 1-616), held June 9–11, 2026, at NürnbergMesse. The showcased solutions are designed to help OEMs and system integrators integrate thermal imaging, SWIR imaging and optical gas imaging technologies into industrial automation, predictive maintenance and intelligent inspection systems.

Crushing SWaP-C Barriers in Embedded Systems

Original equipment manufacturers designing thermal imaging cameras for electrical inspections have long struggled with size and power constraints. Raytron Microelectronics addresses this challenge with its portfolio of ultra-compact thermal imaging modules.

The featured TC2-C series is a miniature thermal module measuring just 13.2×13.2×8.7mm and weighing only 2.5g. Supporting MIPI, DVP, and USB interfaces, it enables seamless integration into PCB inspection systems and handheld instruments.

From Embedded Monitoring to Large-Scale Industrial Inspection

For large-scale industrial inspection, the SE5 1280 series delivers exceptional imaging performance with a 1280×1024 detector housed in a compact 29×29mm package. Powered by a self-developed second-generation ISP chip and shutterless technology, it provides smooth 50 Hz thermal imaging, making it ideal for drone-based utility inspection, photovoltaic monitoring, and infrastructure assessment.

What Can Infrared See Beyond Heat?

To truly transform industrial intelligence, Raytron Microelectronics extends its thermal module for inspection capabilities beyond long-wave infrared.

For automated sorting lines, the NS-615AS-10GE SWIR Camera runs at an industry-shattering 825Hz via 10GigE. By fixing the spectral wavelength, it decodes the chemical signatures of clear plastics (PP, PE, PET, PVC), turning chaotic recycling sorting into a millisecond science. Simultaneously, the Photon C330H Cooled OGI Module achieves an ultra-sensitive NETD≤12mK in a 460g package, visualizing invisible methane and volatile gas leaks for immediate environmental compliance.

Fastmarkets closes the CBAM pricing gap with daily view of carbon import costs

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

LONDON, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Fastmarkets, a leading cross-commodity price reporting agency (PRA), today announced the launch of two new daily CBAM price assessments. These are designed to address one of the biggest challenges facing companies exposed to the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM): the lack of real-time visibility into carbon costs at the point of trade.

As CBAM transitions from a reporting requirement to a financial obligation, managing carbon cost exposure in real time is becoming critical for affected companies. The new assessments are designed to give the market the visibility needed to act at the point where commercial decisions are made.

The CBAM Certificate Index and CBAM Certificate Builder provide the market with its first consistent daily view of expected CBAM certificate costs. This gives importers and exporters the ability to price, procure and manage risk before the EU confirms official certificate costs.

Under the current CBAM framework, certificate costs are only confirmed after each reporting period – quarterly in 2026 and weekly from 2027 – leaving companies without clarity on carbon costs while goods are crossing the border. For industries such as steel, aluminium and cement, this creates significant uncertainty in pricing, procurement and risk management. Fastmarkets’ new assessments are designed to close this gap.

Together, the two series provide both a forward-looking signal and a running total of accrued costs, enabling companies to better manage exposure throughout the reporting cycle. Both assessments are designed to converge with the official CBAM certificate price at the close of each period.

“CBAM introduces a new layer of uncertainty into global trade because the final cost is only confirmed after transactions have already taken place. Bringing greater predictability to that cost is essential if companies are going to manage pricing, procurement and compliance decisions with greater confidence as carbon becomes a core part of cross-border trade,” said Sam Carew, Fastmarkets Senior Strategic Markets Editor.

Companies subject to CBAM are required to purchase certificates covering the embedded emissions of imported goods. By integrating the CBAM Certificate Index and Builder with the Fastmarkets CBAM cost calculator, customers can quantify, forecast and actively manage their CBAM exposure using either EU default values or their own verified emissions data. This enables more confident decisions across pricing, procurement and compliance strategies as CBAM transitions from a reporting framework to a fully financial obligation.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BRUSSELS, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Europe’s offshore wind ambitions are at risk from rising costs, according to a new industry report published by Think Tank GlobeScan. The study, based on interviews with senior executives representing approximately 85 percent of Europe’s existing and planned offshore wind capacity, finds that only 7 percent of respondents are fully confident that the European Union will meet its offshore wind targets.

Europe is stepping up efforts to strengthen its strategic autonomy, enhance energy security, and expand domestic clean energy manufacturing. Against this backdrop, policymakers are weighing measures ranging from local content requirements and trade instruments to cybersecurity and supply chain resilience rules.

The report, commissioned by Dajin Heavy Industry, provides new insight into how offshore wind developers view these measures. Respondents broadly support cybersecurity requirements and express conditional support for mechanisms such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), provided implementation remains practical and predictable. However, support falls significantly for measures that could increase costs in a context of ongoing inflationary pressures, including local content requirements and trade restrictions.

They point to three main areas affecting project delivery:

Across the value chain, respondents underline the importance of maintaining efficient global supply chains alongside efforts to strengthen Europe’s industrial base. The findings suggest that achieving offshore wind deployment targets will require project affordability, investment certainty, and timely execution, while ensuring continued access to the components and infrastructure needed to deliver projects at scale.

About Dajin Heavy Industry:Dajin Heavy Industry is a leading offshore wind fabricator specializing in monopiles, transition pieces, offshore towers, jackets, and floating foundations, while also expanding into shipbuilding capabilities and integrated transport solutions. With more than 25 years of proven experience across both onshore and offshore wind products, Dajin ranks among the top-tier global manufacturers of wind power equipment.

The company has achieved several industry milestones, including becoming the first Chinese supplier to deliver offshore towers to Europe, and the first APAC supplier in more than a decade to supply XXL monopiles to the European market.

Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is advancing its strategic expansion into offshore wind installation to underpin Europe’s offshore wind development targets. As part of this strategic shift, Dajin plans to deliver a one-stop “Manufacturing + Transportation + Marshaling + Installation” integrated solution to the European offshore wind industry, marking a key milestone in its transformation from a core equipment manufacturer to a full solution provider.

Dajin continues to strengthen dialogue and collaboration with global offshore partners, who widely identify Port and Transport & Installation as a critical supply chain constraint to achieving offshore wind ambitions.

Palo Alto Networks and Deutsche Telekom Bring AI-Driven Security with Advanced Sovereignty Controls for European Regulated Industries

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

AMSTERDAM and MUNICH, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW) and Deutsche Telekom (XETRA: DTE) today announced Sovereign Cortex with T Security. This solution brings the Palo Alto Networks Cortex® AI-driven SecOps platform to Europe’s most regulated industries, with data sovereignty controls independently governed by Deutsche Telekom.

Today’s AI-driven threat landscape demands immediate, real time effective cybersecurity. Yet many of Europe’s regulated organisations – in healthcare, the public sector, financial services and critical national infrastructure – face a fundamental challenge: adopting cloud-delivered AI security, while meeting Europe’s growing sovereignty requirements. Increasingly codified in GDPR, NIS2 and DORA and equivalent European frameworks, these requirements demand demonstrable controls that go beyond data residency: control over who can access data, how it is encrypted, how provider access is audited, and how it is handled in support operations.

Sovereign Cortex with T Security addresses these requirements and enables Europe’s most regulated organisations to adopt cloud-delivered security without sovereignty compromise. Anchored by Deutsche Telekom, as the independent European trust partner, it delivers the full capabilities of the Cortex platform with purpose-built sovereignty controls for Europe’s regulatory environment.

In addition to the data residency controls we provide customers for all of our cloud services, Sovereign Cortex with T Security provides additional sovereign controls for every layer of the environment. This includes customer and systems (telemetry) data, encryption keys, and independently audited access logs. Furthermore, all support personnel are based exclusively in Europe, and all contractual agreements are governed by European law.

Helmut Reisinger, CEO of EMEA at Palo Alto Networks”European organisations — from public authorities to critical infrastructure operators — have been clear with us: they need real time AI-driven security and they need verifiable data sovereignty controls, and they should not have to choose between them. This is our direct response to what customers and regulators across Europe have been asking for – a service that honours Europe’s sovereignty, maintains the security effectiveness and modular platformization our customers depend on, and reflects the trust they place in us.”

Thomas Tschersich, CEO Deutsche Telekom Security GmbH and CSO Deutsche Telekom AG”Our joint offering is currently unique in Europe at this level of quality. We meet the compliance requirements of NIS2, DORA, and KRITIS with respect to data sovereignty — without asking our customers to compromise on the effectiveness of their cyber defence.”

A customer-led approach to sovereigntyThis solution reflects direct engagement with regulated organisations and public authorities across Europe — designed around the specific, verifiable controls they require, not a broad interpretation of sovereignty. It is built to evolve as sovereignty regulation across Europe develops.

Sovereign Cortex with T Security will initially be available to organisations in healthcare, financial services, the public sector and critical national infrastructure, with broader availability to follow. The initial release is planned for Q3 2026.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

The FORTEGRA Venous Stent is engineered to offer an optimal balance of conformability and compression resistance for treating a broad range of patients.

PUTZBRUNN, Germany, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — W. L. Gore & Associates Medical Products (Gore) announced today CE Mark approval for the GORE® VIABAHN® FORTEGRA Venous Stent, indicated for use in the treatment of symptomatic inferior vena cava (IVC) and iliofemoral venous outflow obstruction. Building on the recent U.S. FDA approval, this milestone reflects Gore’s commitment to expanding access to a purpose-built treatment option for physicians and patients worldwide.

The FORTEGRA Venous Stent, the newest addition to the VIABAHN® Device family, is specifically engineered to treat patients with deep venous disease. It consists of an open-structure, self-expanding wire-wound nitinol frame and a polymer lattice, which is designed for conformability, strength and fracture resistance.

This novel technology helps provide an optimal balance and unique combination of allowing the stent to conform to the natural anatomy while providing compression resistance throughout the entire device. Featuring a wide range of sizes, the FORTEGRA Venous Stent is appropriate for a wide range of patient anatomies.

“The FORTEGRA Venous Stent represents a significant advancement in the treatment of patients with the most difficult-to-treat venous obstructive pathology; occlusion of the inferior vena cava and iliac veins. Patients will benefit from a device that is specifically designed for this pathology and its unique anatomic and physiologic challenges, including preservation of optimal flow dynamics through reconstruction of the iliocaval confluence and the unique properties of physiological movement in the inferior vena cava,” says Prof. Stephen Black, Professor of Venous Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital London and Global Primary Investigator.

The FORTEGRA Venous Stent was evaluated in a prospective trial – the first of its kind to include the IVC, iliac and iliofemoral veins. The results demonstrated the device to be both safe and effective for its indicated use in patients with deep venous disease. Among patients that experienced pain at baseline, 81% showed improvement in pain at 12 months, with a median reduction in the pain score of -2.0 (p<0.001). Significant improvements were demonstrated across validated quality-of-life measures (VEINES-QOL, EQ-5D-5L), and improvements were observed in clinical severity measures, including edema and ulcer-related outcomes. Primary patency remained high at 12 months (83.4% overall), with no device-related safety concerns observed.

“What is particularly important about this evidence is that it reflects the full thrombotic spectrum we treat in practice—acute, subacute, and post-thrombotic syndrome,” said Prof Gerry O’Sullivan, Interventional Radiologist, Gallway University Hospital, Ireland.

“This prospective study demonstrated conclusively that patients benefitted from a device that is specifically designed for patients with complex cases involving the inferior vena cava, iliac veins and inflow veins. Results showed clinically meaningful benefits, alongside improvements in patient quality of life and clinical severity measures.”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

LONDON, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 2026 Global Peace Index (GPI), released today by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), reveals a world struggling with the economic consequences of a record-high number of conflicts that are increasingly interconnected and difficult to resolve. This deterioration is driven by a profound geopolitical shift, characterised by the rising influence of middle powers and the waning strength of traditional European powers known as the “Great Fragmentation.” This is also accompanied by a rapid technological revolution in warfare that is leaving international law and diplomacy far behind.

For the first time in history, machines are making life-and-death combat decisions faster than any human can review them, and the international frameworks meant to govern them barely exist.

Key results

Global peacefulness deteriorated for the 12h consecutive year, with the number of active, state-based conflicts reaching 61. This is the highest number since the end of the Second World War. Underpinning the long-term decline is a six-fold rise in internal conflict deaths since 2007, from 29,000 to over 181,000 in 2025, while the number of countries recording 1,000 or more conflict deaths is the highest since the inception of the GPI 20 years ago.

This escalation sits inside a broader structural transformation of the international system termed the “Great Fragmentation.” As rising middle powers fill the vacuum left by declining traditional great powers, the global rules for peace are fracturing. This shift is highlighted by the sharp decline in the economic influence of European powers over the last three decades. Since 1995, Germany’s share of global GDP has fallen by 49%, France’s by 44%, and Italy’s by 42%. With multilateral institutions diminished and great power consensus weakened, the historical mechanisms for ending wars are failing. The share of conflicts ending in a peace agreement has plummeted from 23% in the 1970s to just 4% in the last decade, while global investment in proactive peacebuilding stands at just 0.52% of total military spending.

AI and the New Tools of War

Drones have become a defining weapon of modern warfare, with recorded attacks rising by 11,500% between 2018 and 2025. This proliferation extends beyond nation-states, as 565 different armed groups, including criminal cartels, carried out drone attacks during that period.

In Gaza, algorithmic targeting has reportedly compressed the human review of AI-generated targets to roughly 20 seconds per strike. In Ukraine, autonomous systems are being deployed to engage targets without an operator in the loop. This raises serious concerns about the erosion of meaningful human oversight in lethal decision-making.

Global Highlights

Amid these global pressures, Iceland remains the most peaceful country, a position it has held for 19 consecutive years, followed by New Zealand, Switzerland, Slovenia and Ireland. For the first time, Russia is the least peaceful country globally, followed by Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, and Israel. South Asia recorded the largest regional deterioration in the 2026 Index, driven by falls in peacefulness in Nepal and Pakistan. Meanwhile, political instability and a surge in violent demonstrations drove a 4% decline in the United States, pushing it to 134th, its lowest-ever ranking since the Index was created.

The economic impact of violence worldwide rose by 3.2% to a record US$21.81 trillion. This is equivalent to 10.5% of global GDP. The disparity in economic impact is stark: for the ten countries most affected by violence, the average impact was 23.4% of GDP, compared to just 2.2% for the ten least affected.

Steve Killelea, Founder & Executive Chairman of IEP, said:

“As the ‘Great Fragmentation’ intensifies, the institutions of peace are being outpaced by rapid changes in geopolitics and technology, and governments are struggling to keep up. Conflict clusters are becoming more internationalised and larger, making them exceptionally difficult to resolve. The most significant of these clusters is the arc of instability now stretching from South Asia through Iran and the Middle East, and into the Horn of Africa.

“AI and autonomous drone technology are making life and death decisions with human oversight reduced to seconds. At the same time, governance systems are lagging behind real-world events as civilian casualties soar. The humanitarian consequences are considerable.”

The Rise and Spread of Conflict

Internationalised intrastate conflicts have increased by 175% since 2010. This new era of warfare is defined by overlapping conflict systems, in which localised wars are no longer isolated but instead feed into broader regional instabilities through political, economic, and military factors, as well as refugee flows.

These dynamics are increasingly fuelled by self-financing, illicit economies. The production value of illicit drug economies in five major conflict-affected states more than quadrupled between 2015 and 2024, rising from US$14 billion to US$59 billion.

Sudan’s civil war is the world’s most severe humanitarian crisis, with an estimated 150,000 people killed, over 12 million displaced, and famine confirmed across multiple regions. The country serves as a prime example of how conflict clusters operate, as conflicts in Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, and Somalia are interlocked by refugee flows, proxy sponsorship, and illicit trade. The war in Sudan is partially self-financing through gold. The Rapid Support Forces produced an estimated ten tonnes in 2024 alone, worth approximately US$860 million. With gold prices rising to historic highs, the financial incentive to control mines has skyrocketed, making it unlikely that withdrawing external state sponsorship will stop the fighting.

Iran War and Economic Impact

The war in Iran acts as a massive geopolitical force multiplier, amplifying existing conflict pathways and spreading instability. Beyond the immediate macroeconomic shock, the conflict has fuelled existing proxy networks and cross-border insurgencies, from Iran-backed militias in Iraq to Balochistan separatist groups launching attacks across the Pakistan-Iran border, threatening to pull neighbouring states into a wider regional conflagration.

Economically, the impact will be substantial and unevenly distributed. While the first-year global GDP loss is estimated at 0.6%, the worst impact falls on a narrow group of fragile, import-dependent economies. There is a looming crisis in global food production, with disrupted supply chains impacting future yields across South Asia and East Africa. Harvest shortfalls and food inflation will hit severely in late 2026 and 2027.

Highly fragile nations like Pakistan, Egypt, and Kenya face a combined US$5.1 billion in debt rollovers in late 2026 amid disrupted trade routes and strict IMF programme reviews. The difference between a prolonged stalemate and the resumption of war is stark. Successful diplomacy that prevents this would be worth approximately US$2.2 trillion to the global economy.

Regional Highlights

Europe remains the most peaceful region, home to seven of the ten most peaceful countries. However, its long-term trend of demilitarisation has reversed sharply since 2022. The Middle East and North Africa remain the least peaceful region, home to four of the bottom ten countries.

South Asia had the largest regional deterioration in peacefulness, with Nepal falling 26 places, the steepest drop globally, and Pakistan falling to 152nd.

North and Central America’s peacefulness deteriorated, driven by the fall in the US.

About the Global Peace Index (GPI)

The GPI is produced by the international think tank the Institute for Economics & Peace and has been published annually for the past 20 years. It is the most comprehensive resource on global peace trends, ranking 163 independent states and territories, covering 99.7% of the world’s population. It uses multiple indicators to measure the state of peace across ‘societal safety and security’, ‘ongoing domestic and international conflict’, and ‘degree of militarisation’.

About the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP)

The Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) is the world’s leading think tank dedicated to developing metrics to analyse peace and to quantify its economic value. It does this by developing global and national indices, including the annual Global Peace Index, calculating the economic cost of violence, and understanding Positive Peace — the attitudes, institutions, and structures that create and sustain peaceful societies.

High-accuracy energy measurements and photon-level data acquisition on a single chip

ATSUGI, Japan, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (Sony) today announced the upcoming release, mass-production, and shipment of the IMX711 direct conversion charge-integrating X-ray CMOS image sensor.

The IMX711 is an X-ray image sensor for inspection and measurement instrumentation which directly detects X-rays and outputs signals proportional to their energy. The new sensor offers the industry’s fastest*1 maximum 26,100 fps high-speed imaging, achieved thanks to Sony’s proprietary circuit technology, suppressing charge saturation for accurate measurements. It also significantly reduces noise to enable improved signal detection precision in low-flux conditions, detecting differences in photon energy. It provides both high-accuracy measurements of integrated X-ray energy at a wide dynamic range and energy information acquisition at the photon level on a single sensor, a feat that has been difficult with conventional sensors. This unique feature will contribute to the advancement and diversification of X-ray inspection and measurement technologies, which are used in a wide variety of applications, from cutting-edge device inspection to scientific measurements.

*1Among charge-integrating X-ray CMOS image sensors. According to Sony research (as of announcement on June 9, 2026).

Examples of Potential Applications

Main Features

This product achieves the industry’s fastest*1 maximum frame rate of 26,100 fps thanks to Sony’s proprietary circuit technology. Lowering the amount of accumulated charge per frame enables superior saturation characteristics compared to conventional sensors. At the same time, random noise, which is a technical challenge on charge-integrating sensors, has been reduced to 34 e-rms*3 so that even faint X-ray signals are not obscured by noise and can be reliably detected. This improves measurement precision under low-flux conditions, offering photon level detection. These features enable accurate measurement of integrated X-ray energy for all pixels across low- to high-flux conditions, supporting inspection and measurement with significant differences in brightness on a single sensor, contributing to improved device throughput and an expanded dynamic range.

The new sensor uses the charge-integrating method, which makes it possible to acquire photon energy information without the need to set a threshold in advance. Furthermore, noise and signal variation are suppressed during reading to achieve high energy resolution for clear identification of differences in photon energy. Enabling acquisition of highly reliable data via high energy resolution will contribute to streamlining and improving precision in advanced inspection and measurement, which previously required several measurements in applications such as detecting differences in constituent elements at the element level and structural and material analysis to quantitatively evaluate minute state changes. It also enables post-processing under various conditions such as collecting the measurement data for all pixels, combining it with spatial information, and extracting specific energy data contributes to multifunctional inspection and measurement.

The IMX711 was developed with the collaboration between Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation and RIKEN. Based on a pixel structure invented by Dr. Takaki Hatsui of RIKEN, the two parties worked together on the technological development required to make it viable as a practical X-ray image sensor, including improving sensitivity and achieving high resistance to X-ray irradiation and high-voltage tolerance. Sony developed its circuit technology, manufacturing processes and packaging technology for mass production.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Promesse mancate, leadership contestata e consenso in caduta libera.

Sette anni possono sembrare pochi in politica.

L’intervento punta a coniugare tutela degli ecosistemi e innovazione attraverso soluzioni basate sull’ingegneria naturalistica e sulle cosiddette nature-based solutions.

AI-powered enhancement streamlines workflows for communicators and strengthens PR Newswire’s industry-leading solutions for global campaigns.

LONDON, June 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — To enable global organisations to effectively reach audiences in the Americas and Europe without compromising speed or brand consistency, PR Newswire has launched enhanced multilingual support for its Amplify platform. This expansion allows public relations, communications, marketing and investor relations teams to generate on-brand, consistent messaging in the regions’ native languages within minutes.

Enabling Consistent Messaging Across Languages

Customers have sought an efficient way to expand the reach of their stories to non-English-speaking audiences globally without significantly slowing down their processes. With the new feature — and plans for future multilingual enhancements — PR Newswire’s customers are able to easily create campaign strategies and multichannel content like press releases, blogs, articles and media pitches in the following languages: English (US), English (UK), French (CA), French (FR), German, Spanish and Portuguese.

The expanded multilingual support complements PR Newswire’s industry-leading global distribution network and international campaign support. Now, global communications teams can easily plan and create campaign content with a consistent brand voice across regions, ensuring their stories reach their most critical audiences via multiple channels and languages.

In addition to being able to AI-generate new content in-language using the enhanced support capabilities in Amplify, PR Newswire customers can also continue to rely on the company’s trusted translation services when distributing their existing press release drafts to global audiences.

Expanding Global Campaign Reach

The announcement marks the latest innovation to the AI-powered multichannel campaign management capabilities within the Amplify platform. Without a centralised strategy tool, brand voice across regions can become fragmented or get “lost in translation,” leading to a disjointed global brand identity. Global communications teams can now generate native content variants for their key markets so that they can maintain brand control while empowering local teams.

“Our customers rely on our unparalleled distribution network to reach audiences globally with impact and authenticity,” said Matt Brown, PR Newswire President. “This new capability strengthens our decades-long support for in-language global campaigns. We are thrilled to expand the multilingual support within our platform to help our customers generate high-quality, in-language campaign assets with the help of our advanced, proprietary AI.

“This support for additional key languages — and more on the way — further demonstrates the ways PR Newswire Amplify™ is transforming how communicators operate, dramatically reducing time-to-market for global campaigns and fostering stronger connections with audiences worldwide.”

Enhancing Multichannel Amplification™ for Brand Stories
